Marie was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, and, after Arvid passed away in 2003, she became an active member in the Widow’s Web ministry.
Marie was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, through wins and losses, watching nearly every game of every season.
Aside from weekly visits to friends in a retirement community, she also played cards at the East Cobb Senior Center.
She made good friends in Georgia and touched many lives.

She attended many of their events – whether that be Boy Scouts or sports, band or high school football; she was always there.
